What began with the purchase of a 3 family home in Irvington, New Jersey has transformed into nothing short of a real estate empire. Adenah owns multiple multi family homes and apartment buildings throughout Irvington, Newark and northern New Jersey. She also owns the property on which her Irvington IHOP stands. Many of her properties were formerly blighted buildings that she renovated and transformed into residential and commercial buildings for the community.

Investing in people and developing the communities where she conducts business are the foundation of Adenah's work. For Adenah, economic development is more than a business venture; it is a means to improve and empower urban communities. From providing free space to nonprofits for community events to providing free meals for disadvantaged veterans, Adenah heavily invests in the communities where she does business. 

She's a restaurant owner, a landlord and a developer - not to mention being a one-woman economic engine for the Township of Irvington.
